Jean-Pierre Jabouille is a French former Formula 1 driver who competed from 1975 to 1981. Over a career spanning 51 years, he raced for teams including Ligier, Renault, and Tyrrell. Jabouille secured two Grand Prix victories and six pole positions, both achieved during his tenure with Renault, marking him as a key figure in the early development of turbocharged engines in Formula 1.
