British American Racing (BAR) was a Formula 1 constructor active from 1999 to 2005. The team debuted in the 1999 season and competed in 235 Grands Prix without securing a race win or a constructor championship. Despite this, BAR achieved 15 podium finishes and two pole positions during its seven-year tenure.

Notable drivers for BAR included 1997 World Champion Jacques Villeneuve, who raced with the team from 1999 to 2003, as well as Jenson Button and Takuma Sato, both of whom drove for BAR between 2003 and 2005.
