Per-start rates

Wins, podiums, poles in started Grands Prix, fastest laps, and DNFs divided by Grand Prix starts. Non-starts do not dilute the rates.

Era-adjusted points

Official GP classifications are re-scored 25–18–15–12–10–8–6–4–2–1. Sprint and bonus points are excluded; the total is also shown per start.

Pole-to-win rate

Wins in the same Grands Prix where the driver recorded pole, divided by pole positions. The numerator is a strict subset of the denominator.

Qualifying gap

At each common event, the latest segment both drivers completed is compared. The average signed gap uses the pair's mean lap time as a neutral percentage denominator.

Shared and teammate scope

Shared-season results keep only overlapping career years. Teammate results keep only events where both drivers represented the same team.

Sources and freshness

• Jolpica F1 API (Ergast successor) supplies the historical race, grid, qualifying, and standings record.
• FastF1 supplies current-weekend classifications and qualifying data.
• Current race-weekend data is polled every 30 minutes; comparison pages are cached for up to one hour. Historical values update when source corrections are ingested.

Raw career points remain visible as historical totals. They are not used as the era-adjusted comparison metric.
